Shut off while driving no fuel or spark

Bought the pickup coil got so excited about it running I didn't use the coil.

The vehicle is running but something is wrong to where it won't pickup speed unless I keep my foot on the gas pedal.

Hi,

If you take your foot of the gas, does it idle? I ask because when there is power loss like you described, I always think a possible plugged catalytic converter. If you remove one of the O2 sensor before the cat, see if it helps at all. If you notice an improvement, chances are that is the issue.
