The radio quit working. There is no time display or station display. I checked the fuse (#42) and all accompanying fuses. All are good. The other thing I noticed is that there is no "clicking" sound now when I activate the turn signals or emergency flashers.

There are two fuses for the radio. The memory fuse usually isn't labeled for the radio. It is tied in with some other circuit that is always live like the horn or interior lights.

The turn signal sound is a fake one that's generated inside the Body Computer which the GM engineers cleverly hid inside the radio. To insure you spend more money than necessary at the dealership, they stopped allowing us to buy radio service manuals after the '94 model year. Also, by building the Body Computer into the radio, they prevented you from buying a nice aftermarket replacement. You're tied to the dealer and their two grossly over-priced repair centers. Lets hope you find a blown fuse.

I will check that out!

But, it is just my companies work truck and they had "someone" look at it and determined that the radio is FUBAR.

They will install a refurbished one for $250.00. (Imagine that!).

Anyway, thanx for the response!

Bob
