2012 Dodge Avenger Trip counter

The trip counter switches back and forth to outside temp monitor. When I have it set to monitor my mileage it will switch to show the outside temperature . Has anyone else experienced this problem ? Even after we reset it to monitor our trip it will convert back to reading the outside temperature.

Since the vehicle is a 2012 it is still under manufacturer warranty. Take it to the dealer and tell them the issue. It should not cost anything since the vehicle is still under warranty.
