If this only happens when the A/C is on, then we need to suspect the compressor is locking up or otherwise causing the engine to bog down.
So, let's start with checking the pressure in the system using this guide to find out if the compressor is operating.

If it is proper pressures according to the chart below then we need to suspect the RPMs are just dropping too low due to a possible due to a faulty air intake sensor. This can happen when the engine is bogged down due to the A/C, so we need to monitor the data with a scan tool. However, here is a guide that will help with these issues:
