2010 Volkswagen Golf Check engine light

JUST bought the car from used dealership...drove it for only last night and check engine light came on this morning...any ideas? Tried tightening the gas cap...and it looks like it just had an oil change..the front headlight was burned out..but didnt notice it till i was driving at night (U would think they would switch that..or at least see it)

I would need you to get the computer scanned for codes and get me the exact code numbers not code descriptions? That would be the starting point.But if you just bought it from a dealer take it back for them to fix I am sure there is some kind of warranty if you just bought it.
