A couple months ago, my top low beam headlight on the driver's side began to go out about 1 second after turning my headlights on, and some days it would stay on. Then, finally it seized to come on at all. I went and bought a replacement bulb today, and switched them out, but for some reason, the light still does not work. I thought maybe it may be the fuse, but I don't even know which fuse controls the headlights. Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi,

There is a separate fuse for the left low beam headlamp. It is located in the smart junction box under the dash on the driver's side. I attached two pics below to help you better understand how it ties in and where it's located.

What I need you to do is check fuse 7 in the box. In addition to checking the fuse, make sure there is power to and from it. Here is a link you may find helpful:

If there is power to and from the fuse, then I need you to check for power at the light connection. Locate the brown wire with a blue tracer and see if it gets power. Here is a link you may find helpful for testing wiring:

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
