Hi,
That is an interesting one. Does it happen if the fuel tank is full? I'm questioning if there is something partially clogged. Also, was the check engine light turned on while the engine was running or when this happened?
Do me a favor. If the check engine light is staying on, have the computer scanned and record the diagnostic trouble codes that are found. Most parts stores will do this free of charge.
Next, when it happens and won't restart, check to see if the tachometer moves a bit when cranking the engine.
I'm trying to determine if it is a fuel issue or an electrical problem. That's why I have the odd questions. LOL
Take care and let me know.
Joe
