Are you sure its not a Mass air flow sensor code, best re check, what code are you getting, ithink that Nissan's do not use a MAP sensor.

Two things. First, it falls under the vehicle's emissions warranty (100%). You shouldn't have to pay a cent to have it replaced. As far as location, it is on the throttle body.

Looking at Mitchell 1 they show only 3 DTC's for MAF (mass air flow sensor) being P0101 P0102 & P0103 there are no codes mentioned for a MAP sensor, can you please advise the codes that the mechanic was trying to check out.

No idea about the code. In brief, I had a vibration (not shaking) feeling in the steering wheel. Less engine power. My mechanic diagnosed it as the MAP SENSOR was not performing right. He couldn't find the map sensor location in my car. I don't get an engine light. Mechanic also said the mass sensor is giving perfect voltage and it's fine. If there is no map sensor in this car, doesn't know what it could be. As you can tell, this is very frustrating. Any tips?

Also, I don't believe you have a MAP sensor. Again, if it is either a MAP or MAF sensor, they are covered under the vehicle's emissions warranty and should be done by a dealer. If he can't find the part (and I don't think it exists on your car), you really need to get a second opinion. Again, a dealer can tell you about warranty issues and the problem. And like Mark said, without codes, we are guessing.

Let me know what you find.

Joe

They are calling MAF sensor here is the location f31. Here it is in the wiring diagrams that show the MAF sensor in the engine wiring daigrams.

Check out the diagrams (Below)

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers, Ken
