Where is the MAP Sensor on a 2001 Nissan Altima?

There is no MAP sensor but there is a MAF sensor which is located at the air filter here is a diagrams below with a guide to help you change it out.

does altima '99 has a map sensor or maf sensor, or both?
Where is map sensor located and how to replace it? Is it difficult?

MAF sensor.
It is located on left side of engine compartment, in the air intake (pictured below)

Inspection wrote I failed map sensor and two mechanics told me it's map sensor, but in hayes repair manual I found only maf sensor for altima (no mention of map sensor). On the ilustration you sent it also says absolute pressure sensor on the left side of the engine, where you said it should be maf sensor-i'm still confused. What altima has-map or maf sensor, or both.

? Vehicle should have both. MAP sensor is on engine air duct near the air cleaner and MAF sensor is on left side of engine compartment in the air intake. Sorry about that, confused myself. Removing both MAP and MAF sensors are both pretty simple procedures.

Haynes book may have the MAP sensor listed as the Absolute Pressure Sensor or the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor instead of using the acronym?
