P0157 code?

I checked and am getting the following diagnostic code: P0157 are these problems I can fix or should I take my vehicle to a mechanic?

OBD II code P0157 means O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Bank 2, Sensor 2

This would be the O2 sensor downstream of the catalytic converter.

If the O2 sensor is not producing the millivolts it should the code is generated and you are alerted.

These are possibilities of what might cause the issue.

Engine might be running lean, a short somewhere in the oxygen sensor's circuit, low fuel pressure, exhaust leaks, and the most likely/ common possibility is a faulty O2 Sensor.
