Passengers were unable to open door or 'unlock' using passenger door switch. Always had to use the master switch on driver's side.

I manually flipped the small white plastic component in the passenger door. Now it won't switch back and I cannot close the door.

What can I do to reverse this?

the latch is probably closed if your door handles still work put screwdriver in latch and pull one of the door handles to see if latch opens if it does then close door then have a pro look at it to see what is wrong.
