2002 honda crv-ref-locks - new battery in remote, key will not go into keyhole - driver or passenger door but will go in back door. If driver door button is pushed up, the remote will lock and unlock other three doors but not driver door, if driver door button is pushed down/locked the remote will not unlock/lock any doors. I can not puched down the driver door button unless I lift the door handle up. Tired of unlocking back door and crawling in back seat to unlock that door to get in car. Please help me if you can. I need to know problem before I go to the honda dealer. Thanks so much in advance for your help.

The door ley lock seems to be jammed and a locksmith might be able to help.

The driver door lock actuator is bad and that would not allow the remote power door locks to operate.

Driver door **** cannot be operated unless door is closed or the handles are pulled, this is a safety feature to prevent accidental locking of the door.
