I have just recently noticed that at times when shifting from park to reverse, there is a popping sound or clunk sound. Occasionally this also occurs when shifting gears. Mechanical repair shop looked at it and reset computer codes to no avail. They suggest new transmission. Any other suggestions before I take it to an actual transmission shop?
