2008 Ford Expedition Air suspension

I ran the battery down and had to get a jump start. The message "air suspension off" came up on the display. I have tried resetting per the owners manual and I can't get the message to stay off the screen. What could be the problem? If the air system is off, am I damaging anything by driving the car?

You won't necessarily damage anything but if the system is really off then the airbags will eventually leak down. I'd call the local ford service dept to ask questions as this unusual to me. I've never seen this system need resetting
