Transmission speed sensor

I can not find the speed sensor, is it possible it could be located inside the transmission if so how do I get to it ?

Hello,

The transmission speed sensor is located inside the transmission you will need to drop the pan here is the location and instructions on how to change it. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

so do we need to remove the whole transmission from engine?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Our repair guide states the you remove the transmission, but if you have easy access to removing the transmission pan I seen no reason to do that. To gain access to the speed sensor you just need to remove the transmission pan to gain access to the transmission valve body where the part is located.
