The truck cranks but does not want to start in cold weather for about 5 - 10 seconds, or after trying to turn the key a couple of times. I have added HEET to the gas tank, battery, started and alternator all checked and are fine. Had spark plugs replaced. Got an oil change and had Lucas added. After cycling the key 3 times, it starts right up. It idles fine and when it does start there are no issues. After the truck sits over night or at work all day, it is very slow to start. But after being run for a while and then stopping and sitting for a short period, it works just fine. Please give me some other ideas to check.

Had the mechanic run a diagnostic check when replacing the spark plugs and there were no errors. Will check the fuel pressure.

There should be a Schrader valve on fuel rail if not you will need to have adapters to do it. If something has to be made up then have amechanic do it.
