RAW LOCK NON FUNCTIONAL

HI, I OWN A MAZDA BT 50 DOUBLE CAB 4WL DRIVE WHICH IS IDENTICAL TO THE FORD DOUBLE CAB AS ITS FROM THE SAME COMPANY.THE 'RAW' LOCKING SYSTEM LIGHT DOES NOT ENGAGE WHEN ENGAGING THE 4WL DRIVE HENCE THE 4WL LOCKING SYSTEM IS NOT FUNCTIONING.I DID A REPAIR 2 WEEKS AGO CHANGED THE CLUTCH PLATE & PRESSURE PLATE COULD THIS HAVE CAUSED THE PROBLEM IF SO HOW COULD WE RECORECT THIS.PLEASE HELP

Removing the transmission means disconnecting electrical components and vacuum lines to the 4WD system. I would suggest checking for unplugged vacuum lines and electrical connectors.
