how do I repair a loose driver side outside mirror

the driver side outside mirror is loose. It is loose at the point where it swivels, not where it attaches to body

Hello,

These mirrors are built as one piece it must be broken inside and it will need to be replaced. Here is a guide and a diagram (below) to help you get the problem fixed.

You will need to remove the door panel, this will give you an idea on what you are in for when doing the job
