It could be a bad battery or just a corroded battery terminal. Check the terminals to make sure they are clean and tight. If they are, have the battery load tested at a parts store. They will do it for free.

Let me know what you find.

Parked Equinox was bumped from behind. No damage except a scratch, however the anti theft light is now on and the car won't start. I tried looking up information about a possible fuel shut off switch being triggered but found nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated to avoid a tow to the dealership. Thanks

changed the blower motor for heater and now the car will not start. Won't even turn over. The head lights work when the key is on but won't turn over. Put in a new ignition relay. What else could it be?

You need to make sure you are getting 12 volts power to the starter solenoid. If you are getting the voltage, then the starter is bad. If not, let me know.

Electrical problem
2005 Chevy Equinox All Wheel Drive 76500 miles

I saw a post recently with the same problem. I hadn't been driving my Equinox regularly for a couple weeks because I have received a company car. One day the Equinox would not start. I assumed it was the battery. It went to the garage and the problem was not the starter or the battery. $550 later they had found a broken wire. It started up and all seemed fine. One week later I took it on a 2 hr road trip. After sitting for a couple hours it again would not start. There is power to the radio and windows but it won't even turn over.

Sounds like an issue with the security system. Have it scanned for codes at the dealer. It will probably need the passlock sensor.

The car does not start and all the power is working, sound like a starter issue, but this care is so strange can, t tell. I thought it was the altenator until the power came on. It will click once when ever I try to start, so it sounds like a silinod? Is gone bad.

First, is the vehicle still under warranty (3 year / 36K). Second, here is what I need you to do. If the starter isn't working, have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power to the smaller wire on the starter. You should be getting 12+ volts.

Let me know what you find.
