To all Automotive mechanics and technicians. I am a sixteen year old boy name tony. Im looking for someone or somewhere that can help me with automotive diagnostic training. Can anyone help me please pass on the word. I have the will to learn. I wont to lean because soon my dad willl pass the shop on to me and that something i wont to lean. The thing i won to learn is how to use a scan-tool and make repairs and good judgement. Using a scan tool is nothing more than plugging it in to the vehicle's OBD 2 system. The scan tool than prompts you as to what to do.

I am glad you are interested in learning the trade. If your father owns a shop, I would say you should spend some time with him and learn from him. However, if you would rather go to school for training, look for technical schools in your area. I'm sure you will find one that offers Auto Mechanics as a course.
