I recently brought my car in to be checked, because when it gets cold it wont start. I bought a brand new battery with high cranking amps, hoping that was the problem. My mechanic ran tests on everything and found that when they tested everything that the computer was not sending a signal to the starter. This only happens when it gets cold. Any advice would be much appreciative

Sounds like a bad ignition switch its really common when the switch fails the car wont start if 5he temp is below 40 degrees. Saturn out out a bulletin for it I have replaced tons of them for that issue. They should have scanned your body control module for codes they will set a B2960 and or B3033 codes in the body control module. Most likely its a bad ignition switch not tough to figure out the problem. Cant believe the shop you brought it to couldn't figure it out.
