Ignition will not turn when I put the key in. Sometimes it wont, but when I turn the steering wheel it unlocks and I can turn the key. This time it is not doing that. The steering wheel can turn but the key will still not turn.

Thats normal to have to move the steering wheel sometimes to turn the key. Does the key look really worn?Do you have another key to try? Also you can try taping lightly on the key hole opening with a hammer and see if you can turn it then?If not insert the key and tap on the key and see if the key turns then.

Hello again, Thank you again for your assistance. We tried what you suggested but did not work. The ignition seems to be stuck. The plate where you insert the key seems loose, but when we put the key in it firmly doesn't turn. The steering is very loose and plyable. We are in a place of extreme cold weather. Not sure if that would have anything to do with it. I know there is a spray we used for ice on the outside door key hole before to unfreeze. There doesn't seem to be any liquid don't know about frozen condensation. Thank you again.
