I do not know why my rear doors locks stopped working. They just stopped locking. I changed the whole lock before a couple of months, and now the second lock stopped working. What is the reason, and how can I lock the car?
thanks a lot.

Is there power to the solenoid? If there is, either the ground is weak or the solenoid has gone bad again. As far as locking the doors, you should be able to do it manually.

Using a test light, check the wiring to the lock solenoid to see if power is present when the lock is actuated. As far as locking, it should work manually.

I took it to a mechanic today and he told me that I have to change the whole lock. Also told me that the lock is completely electrical and the door can not be locked mechanically or manually. Please do u have any suggestions?

He said the actuator stopped working. He did this by doing the following:
1. He opened and closed the door so strongly.
2. He switched on and off the auto-lock and put his ear on the door so that he can listen to the lock.
He told me his conclusion after these steps.
Thanks a lot again for your response.
