Car has gone into economy mode turn key to crank it turns over for a few seconds then cut out

Hey 123JON123,

This sounds like the car is going into limp mode which can be caused by a dirty throttle body here is a guide to help you get it fixed.

Hello I have a citreon c4 and I ran out of diesel after putting a gallon of diesel into the car it still wouldnt start can someone please tell me what the problem could be?

When a diesel engine runs out of fuel, air would be trapped in the fuel system and bleeding has to be performed to get it started again.

You need to at least bleed the fuel filter and crank the engine till it starts. A weak battery is not good and since you would need to be cranking for prolonged periods, the starter should be allowed to rest, failing which you could damage it.

Hi I have a citroen c4 1.4 petrol 05 iv just had the gearbox changed all conections and earths are reconected correctly but it will not start and is diagnosed with no power to injectors any ideas
