Once a month or so, when I start the Suburban first thing in the morning with the A/C and Heat (I live in South Florida) in the off position and the dash vents open, very warm air comes out of all front vents. If I turn on the A/C, I still get only very warm air from all front vents even though the rear vents (dual A/C) blow cold. If I slide the temp controls to the hot position, the vents blow hot air. This continues until I turn the vehicle off and restart it after the Suburban has sat for a while. This just started a few months ago and seems like maybe a door is stuck in the wrong position. By the way, I never move the temp controls to the warm or hot position at anytime before this issue happens, for example like the day before and then turn the vehicle off for the night.
Thanks, Tony

Common issue is the blend door actuator. Not a hard DIY. The actuator is behind the trim panel under the dash on the passenger side. There are a few videos about this online.

Try pulling hvac fuse inside car with key on for 60 seconds then put it back in. It may reset the temp actuator otherwise check actuator for power as it may be bad.
