I had to replace the ignition coil on my 05 Kia Sedona. I took out the part of the ignition where the key goes in, I thought that was where I needed to go.
I replaced the ignition coil but I cannot get the ignition in correctly. If I stick a screwdriver into the hole on turn the internal portion to the on position, the ignition slides right in, but the van acts like the key is always in. When I try to lock the door with the key out, the lock automatically unlocks so I cannot lock my keys in the car.
When I turn the internal portion of the ignition back to the off position, I can only get the ignition in about half way before it stops.
