1st Issue: When I go over a speed bump or a major dip on the road. The car makes a single "clunk". It feels and sounds like it's bottoming out or something similar, could something be loose? Another description would be, Like.A metal plate is hitting another metal piece under the weight of the car when the car shifts toward the front end. Feels like there is a "gap" somewhere and when the weight of the car causes two parts to collide. I hope this makes some sense. I hear it EVERY time I go over a bump or dip. The noise is much more defined when backing up on an incline or decline, then it sounds like something is rolling over.
2nd issue: The check engine light came on, ran a scanner on it, turned out to be the Camshaft Position Sensor. I replaced the sensor cleared the code and drove it for approximately 4 miles. The check engine light never came on but it was still sluggish on excelleration and the issue above was still gong on.
After the car was turned off and then started again the check engine light is back on and all the previous stated symtoms are still present. Please help, I don't know where to start.
I have a 2005 Kia Rio (base model) 4 door, 4 cylinder
