After much work, I believe I don't have spark because I fried the computer when checking for spark coming from my coil packs. But, I got to thinking....shouldn't there be a relay switch between the coil packs and the computer to keep that from happening? if there is a switch, where is is located?

I seriously doubt you damaged the computer unless you back-fed a bunch of current through it. It wouldn't drop both coils at once anyway. I'd be checking the crank sensor first.
