I wanted to know how much you think for replacing water pump in 2005 chysler T & C minivan. Had to turn it in to have a lower control arm fixed and several steering issues. Would driving a car over a recessed sewer drain cause a 2nd alignment and lower controlarm to go bad? What do think the costs should be for these repairs

If the sewer drain was an extreme bump, it could cause an alignment issue but would have to really be bad to damage the control arm. As far as the water pump, the job calls for 1.9 hours labor. You can get an aftermarket pump for around 50 dollars. A OEM pump from the dealer will be around 100.00.

As far as the control arm, labor to remove and replace is 1.8 hours. If only the control arm needs replaced, the price is aprox 350.00. If other parts need replaced, that will change. Also, yes the vehicle will need aligned when it is done.
