My van has been modified for hadnycap accessibility and the compressor will not stop running. What could the problem be? Is it an easy fix or must I bring it too a specialist?

For the pump to be running at all time is an indication of leak or the level sensor is misadjusted

Best to have it checked for leaks as it may be an air line or a defective shock bag
