Yes, that usually means an SRS- supplemental restraint system which includes airbags code is stored in your vehicles computer. First thing to do is check for any codes stored. If you don't have access to a scanner or code reader most auto parts stores have a tool loaner program and can rent you one. Here is a tutorial showing how to check for codes:

Just be sure that any scanner or code reader you use has SRS capability. Get back to us with any code information and we can then properly diagnose. If no codes are stored then it could possibly be an electrical issue.
