2004 Vauxhall Vectra fuel pump

How difficult is it to change the fuel pump on my Vectra its 2litre petrol turbo I had to call a mobile mechanic to get it going he banged the underbody of the car and it started straight away I want to try and change the pump as soon as possible but have no idea where to start the mechanic did say he wasn't sure if the fuel tank had to come out or it was possible to get to the pump from under the rear seat

We have no info on this car, however look above the fuel tank area and see if there may be an access plate it could be under your seat or in trunk. If no plate then the tank has to come out
