differential noise

Hi

I put LSD 80W-90 GL-5 OIL TO differential but noise still there.

How long it will take with this noise.

if the oil was low, then the damage is done. the bearing most likely need to be replaced. adding fluid will not cure the problem..

IT is just not a matter of fitting a new bearing if it is noisy, the carrier bearing that support the differential must be preloaded to a precise tension and the setting up of the crown wheel and pinion to obtain the correct backlash is also extremely critical, this should only be done by a qualified mechanic that is competent with this type of specialist work, otherwise it will just be money wasted.
