On my dashboard my mileage stops and the words deck light up, trunk is closed. I just bought this car but I think I bought a big headache for allot of money, does this also mean the milage is wrong bcuz it's stops adding milage once the deck light goes it was going on and off but now it's always on and milage isn't moving

have it scanned for codes first it may be a sensor or module problem

Did put it on a machine at Autozone for the engine light being on first and it came back it needs a air filter. Then a week later the odometer stopped and the dash board reads deck, I checked the trunk it was shut. This car supposedly only had 35,000 miles on it now I don't believe that bcuz the miles I'm putting on it aren't showing anymore. I have a warranty but I don't know exactly what's going on with this car.

youreally should have a mechanic scan this as he can check all the modules in the car not just engine and trans like autozone. I thin you may get a better answer. as far as your speedo it may be a bad dash as these go bad due to being digital.
