Turbo making a whining noise. can it be a sensor or cartridge

started making noise with out warning can it be sensor or turbo cartridge

Probably turbo bearing. If it isn't normal turbo spooling sound.

Or it could be your belts slipping under load. Does the noise continue at the same pitch and for how long? Suddenly appear and sustained or jusr vanishes as quickly as it appears? If it is the turbo check the oil level and condition. Turbos have to be kept with clean oil(Synthetic) and up to the min value. I am think it could be the belts whining, but that does depend on the duration of the whine.
