I have a 2004 Tahoe with 165,000 miles. I've had no major problems with it and in fact still have original brakes. I fish alot and have a 3500# boat to trailer. I only put about 20K miles a year on the Tahoe. Is it wise to put additional money in it and fix any problems that may come up or sell it now and get a newer vehicle? If it still has a lot of life, wht kinds of things sould I do know to extend it's life?

That would pretty much depend on the condition of the major components in the truck. Have it checked by a competent mechanic and see what the condition of the engine, transmission and differential. If the truck is structurally strong, then normal wear and tear would be worth fixing but you don't want to fix a bunch of little things and then have the trans let go.
