Its screeching in my 2004 Chevy Suburban

When I start the car its fine but the moment I start driving forward I hear this loud screech on the driver side front wheel its very loud, screechy, and non-stop it gets louder as I drive more, what could it be? How much you think will cost me to fix it?

Have you checked the brakes yet? You may be down to the wear indicators or metal to metal on the rotor.

Havent done anything yet I am waiting til I get paid to take it to the mechanic I need an idea of the cost before I take it to them I dont have a lot to pay but if its the breaks I can handle that
