2003 Saturn L200 Car Started Open Trunk Using Button On Inside Will Into This

when i have my car started and i open the trunk using the button on the inside of the car it will go into this mode where the gauges stop working and the all lights come showing problems and none of the remote buttons will work or the trunk can not be opened unless u use the key and u can not put the car in gear to drive it ,it will run but u cant drive it the only way to get it back to normal is undo the battery then it goes back to normal do u have any suggestions to why this is happening thanks Angie

Sounds like a bad body control module i have replaced a lot of them on those cars for doing strange things.I would have it looked but sounds like.a bad body control module to me
