After driving for about an hour, I noticed water on the floor under the floor mats in front on both the driver and passenger side. Could this be coming from the air conditioner?

If it's coolant it's from the heater core .If it's water it's from the a/c and you probably have a clogged up a/c drain.

Just to add to this one if its clear water not coolant its your a/c drain that is clogged on the fire wall middle of it about half way down cant miss it has a rubber elbow facing down its bolted in place take the bolt out and remove the drain to clean it.When you remove the drain you will know it was clogged because a lot of water will come pouring out.Just to be clear the drain is on the firewall on the side inside the engine compartment where you see the heater core hoses going into the car that is the fire wall.
