2003 Nissan 180SX wont start

I have changed the fuel filter on my van primestar now it wont start. I had a problem trying to seal the filter as it kept leaking, I also tried changing the glow plugs but one snapped so I give up
the van turns over and every now and then it fires but dont start iv give up for today and had to put the battery on chargre

If the filter is leaking, air would get into the system resulting in non starting.

Check and ensure there are no leaks and prime the system using the hand primer. Loosen the nozzle pipes near the injectors and crank the engine until fuel comes out. Re-tighten the nozzle and try starting. You would need a strong battery as it might take some time for it to start.
