My car is over heating a weird way vie never seen before. I changed the thermostat in it and it is still giving me a problem. It only over hearts when I have the a/c on and it don't do it all the time I swear only when it wants it isn't making sense to me. I am not a car genius by no means but I no enough to do what I need don't I can do what a mechanic can do if I can figure out the problem. But it over heats at high speeds, it don't when it idles. And at idle inn drive the dash and steering wheel shakes until I give it had or put it in neutral. And it don't stay over heated at high speeds it will go up and down and sometimes it won't at all. I never let it red line. Just looking for answers please helpu

See if yoru condenser fan motor is on when a/c is on. If not scan for codes. Thenhave cooling system pressure checked for internal leak.

Diable your fans so they won't come on and when engine is warm feel for cold spots on radiator if you feel any then the radiator is no good it should be same temp all over. Also have radiator cap pressure checked.

Try pressure checking while hot see if it does it then, if you already have. Put a mechanical gauge to it like one of those infra red temp gauges to see what tem p actually is. Then check for a bad radiator cap and try some of that coolant cool that you can use to drop temp that stuff works. It cold be abad gauge too.
