tring to change a wheel-bearing but it stuck

tried to change the front passenger wheel bearing on my kia sorento 2003 but everything is stuck together/my mechanic says i may have to buy the whole assembly to the tune of 900.00any ideas on how to get it apart?

it should be 186000km not miles

#1.CHECK FOR THE CORRECT WHEEL BEARING POSITION #2 LUBRICATE BEARING OUTSIDE #3 USE THE CORRECT TOOLS FOR YOUR JOB ON THIS CASE A GOOD PRESS *** NEVER USE A HAMMER FOR BEARING INSTALLATION*** GOOD LUCK!!! OTHERWISE CHANGE YOUR MECHANIC!!!!
