I had recently replaced the thermostat in my car listed above. It ran fine before the replacement, but now it shuts off after starting.
I've checked all vacuum hoses and all sensors are plugged in.
If you give it gas after starting, it'll rev up then shuts off when you let off.
I'm including a link to a video of what I'm talking about below.

Hi,

I have a few questions. First, which engine is in the vehicle, the 3.4 or the 3.8? Also, did coolant get all over the engine when you did the procedure?

Also, I believe the air duct needs to be removed when you do this job. Make sure the inlet tube between the airbox and throttle body are properly attached. Make sure the PCV tube is connected as well. Also, you have an air intake temp sensor and a mass airflow sensor. Confirm they are installed and tight. If they are, disconnect the wiring and inspect the pins for damage.

I attached a pic below of the items I'm referring to. Also, make sure the air intake tube is fully seated and not allowing unmetered air to enter the engine.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
