03 Taurus with gas odor

Do you still hear the fuel pump running when off? You might hear it better with the gas cap off.

Have you looked for fuel squirting/ running onto the engine or ground?

When you search, use a flashlight, NOT! Your cigarette lighter! You also may want to keep a fire extinguisher handy while you search!
