We understand that your problem is:
I have an 03' ford focus. I was driving down the road when all of a sudden the dash lights and all of my gauges shut off. The car let me drive for a little while like that before I could go no further. After I shut the car off and tried to start it again, it would try to start for a second then it would go, "click, click, click." I have not tried to start it since it happened yesterday, hpoefully its an easy fix!.

**No crank at all/nothing/nada when key is engage to starting position

Could be a blown fusible link, the starter, starter relay, clutch switch and ignition switch assuming the battery condition and connections are good. Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.

It cranks for a sec then clicks. Could it be an alternator?
