My car starts but wont turn ova on its own

Are you saying, you have to use jumper cables to start it? If so, make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all clean and tight. Make sure charging system is working, correctly. Next, I'd have to check starter wiring circuits. Any testing at the starter, make sure the tranny is in park or neutral and the parking brake is set.
