upon accelleration car hesitates, but does not skip. ive checked injectors, plugs, tranny fluid all are ok. when i easily accellerate this does not happen. i can slowly gain speed and reach speeds up to 80mph and it doesnt skip or mis-fire. was wondering if catalitic converter maybe stopped up

not likely. very unlikely, especially if this is a sudden occurance. there are tests that can be done if your dead set on finding out. check your plug tip color to see if it's whitish which is too lean causing hesitation. TPS /MAF snesor /temp sensor/ ox sensor / EGR leak or small vacuum leak can cause similar symptoms. get codes read even if CEL light is not on.
