my car keeps juddering as its driving its a automatic
and appears to be worse when cold , my garage said it has a major gear box problem but the couldnt say what , i dont want to get ripped off by a specialist so i wanted a mechanics opionion thanks

I'll need a bit more information. Can you compare your version of "Juddering" with something else (Shaking?)? Is there a noise associated with the Juddering? Does the juddering increase with speed, as you turn, etc.? Also, does your tranny have any problems shifting up or down.

Your problem could be a bent axle, worn CV joint, hub, bent wheel, broken engine/tranny mount, etc. This is why I'll need as much information as possible. And keep in mind, you version of "Juddering" may be different from mine. So try to keep your details simple.

Hi do you know if your car is Automatic or Multi-tronic I really need to know this to be able to help you a gearbox number or chassis number would be good and then I can give you more of an idea.
