Hello,

My car broke down yesterday, and I just found out that the engine is dead. My brother changed the oil 2 weeks ago at a Valvoline place where they checked all the parts and evaluated everything as in good conditions. Nevertheless, the car broke down and we are wondering how useful/convenient it is to buy an used engine and install it in our car. Also, we are students and we don't want to throw our investment in that car away so easily. My thoughts were to install the engine, and sell it in the summer, but I don't know if there's a market for cars like mine with a used engine which is not the original. Is it worth 2,500 dollars to install it and then sell it for 6,000 probably?

I COULD NOT FIND A REMAN FOR A 3.0L----I RECKON YOURS WOULD HAVE TO BE REBUILT AT A LOCAL SHOP IF THIS WERE YOUR SIZE

AS FAR AS GETTING EITHER OF THESE INSTALLED
