white steam smoke

my volve S60 turbo charged AWD have a white smoke steam coming out from the pipe but there is no check engine light on or

When do you see the smoke? Is it only when it is cold like in the mornings? Does it throw a huge cloud of smoke or very little? How does your vehicle run? Does it idle or run very rough when the smoke comes out? If it is ok and it is just a little steam then that is normal. That is coming from the catalytic converter.
